Earlier this season, Akerboom Yacht Equipment hosted a three-day event that brought together partners, colleagues, and the local community under one central theme: Innovation through Partnership. The Akerboom Experience offered a carefully curated programme of exchange, reflection, and inspiration, highlighting the collaborative spirit that drives the company forward.
The event began with a warm welcome to the Feadship family, reinforcing the strong relationships that form the foundation of Akerboom’s work within the network. This was followed by a dedicated supplier day, where experts from across the supply chain came together to share knowledge, insights, and technical expertise. The Experience concluded with an open day for families and neighbours, providing a unique opportunity to step inside Akerboom’s world and gain a closer look at the craftsmanship and advanced technologies behind its products.
This edition of the Akerboom Experience also marked two significant milestones. The reopening of the former Gemeente school symbolised the connection between Akerboom’s rich heritage and its future ambitions. In addition, the launch of the company’s first archive exhibition offered visitors a glimpse into its history, presenting stories that reflect decades of craftsmanship, innovation, and ingenuity.
