Akerboom Yacht Equipment (AYE), subsidiary of the De Vries Group, is a modern project organization that combines traditional craftsmanship with the latest technologies. We build complex yacht equipment for the finest superyachts and provide service to sailing fleets. Refits of these yachts are also part of our activities. We do this with about 140 employees. Our people work in various disciplines in teams for engineering and production, fitting and service.

We have office functions - such as P&O, Finance, Project Management - and craftsmanship in the workshops. The workshops are the domain of specialized craftsmen such as welders and mechanics. Experienced people work together with colleagues in training.

We are currently seeking a Foreman with a background in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, marine engineering or mechanical engineering.

As Foreman Assembly you plan and organize the work in such a way that the equipment is assembled on time, built into the yacht and put into operation. You have and keep an eye for safety, quality and efficiency. You also have an overview of the work and the team. You are the point of contact for this team.

Your team consists of 5 Foremen. The Assembly team is part of the Production department which consists of 57 employees. Akerboom employs a total of 110 employees.
